I’m a trial attorney and my day consists of writing, arguments, and a lot of critical thinking. Cooking, on the other hand, is where I get to experiment, make mistakes, and be creative. This blog started as a way to escape legal writing and do something messy, fun, and hands-on (and also to keep track of how many times I set off the smoke alarm.)

This is not a “home chef” blog, instead it’s a learning to cook with a bit of chaos all mixed in. Here you’ll be able to find beginner-friendly recipes, all the mistakes to avoid, and honest reviews of recipes, cookware, and different techniques.

Why I’m Doing This

Honestly, I made this blog because I got burned out from job and cooking is my favorite outlet. I love sharing all my recipes with my friends and I thought it would be exciting to share them with others too.

If I can learn to cook from nothing, then anyone can be a beginner and learn to cook while making mistakes and overcoming them.
